SULMSEE

Originally, the Sulmsee was a small marshy area at the confluence of the Sulm and Kogelgrabenbach rivers. It lies to the west of Leibnitz. The lake was divided into two basins by a dam; a fishing pond and a bathing lake. But you can  enjoy other sporting activities as well, such as pedal boating or stand-up paddling. In winter, the Sulmsee is perfect for ice skating. The lake is located in an enchanting hilly landscape (with a pleasant atmosphere) directly between the Silberberg winegrowing school and Seggau Castle, where you have an excellent view.
