Fancy a relaxed hike and an impressive destination? Then a trip to the Kreuzkogelwarte is perfect for you! The Kogelberg is located in the district of Kaindorf an der Sulm. The viewing platform can be reached with a leisurely walk. 43 steps lead up to the top, the total height of the hill is 13.3 meters. It offers an impressive view of the Sausal wine country, the Leibnitzer Feld and Seggau Castle opposite.

Originally, the Sulmsee was a small marshy area at the confluence of the Sulm and Kogelgrabenbach rivers. It lies to the west of Leibnitz. The lake was divided into two basins by a dam; a fishing pond and a bathing lake. But you can enjoy other sporting activities as well, such as pedal boating or stand-up paddling. In winter, the Sulmsee is perfect for ice skating. The lake is located in an enchanting hilly landscape (with a pleasant atmosphere) directly between the Silberberg winegrowing school and Seggau Castle, where you have an excellent view.

Seggau Castle is located on a wooded hill in the village of Seggauberg in the municipality of Leibnitz. The Sulm flows around the Seggauberg in a loop. This separates it from the Kreuzkogel to the north.
A guided tour of the castle provides interesting historical impressions. Discover, among other things, the baroque Fürstenzimmer and the Seggauer Liesl, the largest historic bell in Styria with a diameter of two meters.

Flavia Solva was a town in the Roman province of Noricum and is located in the Leibnitzer Feld near Leibnitz. Here, the Roman era lies directly underground. The town once covered more than 40 hectares. 5% of this area is located in the archaeological protection zone in Leibnitz. Today, this site is the most important Roman archaeological site. Here you can admire exhibits from over 100 years of archaeological research. It can be visited around the clock and admission is free. Today, the museum is offered as a display case that can be moved around. Admire these unique finds in southern Styria.
